Lawrence: A sophisticated and cultured silkie with gray feathers, wearing a red beret and scarf. He arrives in Chickaville searching for the next big star and hosts a singing competition. Lawrence plays a pivotal role in helping Ashley realize her dream by offering her the opportunity to go to New Yolk City.
Carlos the Rooster: The strict and no-nonsense leader of Chickaville. He upholds traditional values, expecting the hens to lay eggs and maintain order. Carlos wakes the flock with his morning crowing and serves as a disciplinarian figure.
Ashley Orpington: A young and kind-hearted hen with big dreams of becoming a singer. She is inspired by the mysterious BROWN GIANT's song from her childhood. Despite being discouraged by others, she remains hopeful and determined. Ashley is brave, as shown when she rescues Penelope from danger, and ultimately fulfills her dream by auditioning and going to New Yolk City.
Mariah: A skinny Welsummer and the third member of the Mean Chicks. Like Beverly, she ridicules Ashley and follows Penelope’s lead, though she is less vocal in her cruelty.
Penelope: A plump golden Brahma and the leader of the "Mean Chicks" trio. She bullies Ashley and schemes to win the singing competition by sabotaging her rival. However, after being rescued by Ashley during a hawk attack, Penelope apologizes and acknowledges Ashley’s talent.
Mary Kate Orpington: Ashley's twin sister who is more practical and grounded. She supports the traditional expectations of their flock, often echoing Carlos' sentiments about the role of hens in Chickaville. Though initially unsupportive of Ashley’s dreams, she is still caring and valued by the Wise Owl as a loving sibling.
